Researcher biography

Lizzie Kennedy worked for almost ten years in the field of market research in the UK. In 2014 she started her first post in Australia, at ISSR, after taking time out to have kids. She started as a graduate trainee at BMRB (the longest established market research agency in the UK) managing predominantly large scale telephone and face-to-face social research projects. From there she went to Which? (Choice equivalent) where she worked on a variety of, mainly online, projects for both the editorial and policy divisions. In her ten years at ISSR she has worked on a variety of commercial and academic projects, with tasks from survey design and ethics applications to project management (of both quantitative and qualitative research) and interviewing. Her focus more recently has been in the field of education, working on projects involving students, teachers, parents and the wider community.
