Research Impacts

Jude is a social scientist whose work examines the lived realities, agency, and interdependence of peoples, lands, and systems that shape public health, safety, and social outcomes across remote and regional Australia and comparable international contexts. Her research is grounded in long-standing partnerships with Aboriginal researchers, families, and community leaders, and is characterised by the integration of qualitative, quantitative, Indigenous, and creative methodologies to illuminate complex social issues. Jude’s work spans program evaluation, social policy, community-led research and evaluation, and higher degree research training, with a focus on strengthening evidence-informed policy, governance and practice responses in contexts marked by cultural authority, structural inequity, and place-based determinants of health and wellbeing.
