
Researcher Biography
Dan Richard Fernandez BSN MAN is a registered nurse. He started his career as an emergency department nurse in the Philippine Heart Centre then shifted to the academe as a lecturer/clinical instructor/researcher in the Trinity University of Asia-St. Luke’s College of Nursing.
He has published in nursing education and primary health care.
During his PhD, he hopes to be trained in First Nations health research with a focus in sleep and mental health among First Nations children and adolescents.
PhD Topic:
Sleep Health Program to achieve better sleep and improved mental health symptoms in Indigenous adolescents.
