Researcher Biography

Macarena is a physiotherapist with 4 years of experience in Chile. She holds a Master degree in Public Health from the University of Queensland, which she finished in 2015.

She is currently in the last year of her PHD studying Screening for depressive symptoms during pregnancy and health outcomes.  She is interested in different mental health and health behaviours during pregnancy and their consequences in the child. Her other interests are related to social determinant of health, health policies and statistics.
