Researcher Biography

Macarena is a physiotherapist with 4 years of experience in Chile. She holds a Master degree in Public Health from the University of Queensland, which she finished in 2015.

She is currently in the first year of her PHD studying alcohol consumption in pregnancy and health outcomes in the offspring.  She is interested in different health behaviors during pregnancy and their consequences in the child. Her other interests are related to social determinant of health, health policies and statistics.
