Researcher Biography
Prior to starting her PhD, Tin worked as a research associate for the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. She has worked extensively on developing country issues such as tax reform, infrastructure, and labor regulations. Her broad research interests are in the fields of labor economics, inequality and social mobility and public policy. For her PhD she aims to examine the connection between two emerging trends, particularly the rise of temporary labor contracts and widening income inequality.
