I have a strong interest in applied research, using information to improve policy. I completed a PhD at the School of Biological Sciences UQ and undertaken two post-doctoral appointments.

Other employment has included: editor for an international journal, tutor for a conservation masters course and a research assistant on projects examining teaching and learning innovation.

I have supervised RHD students in the past, as well as acting as a mentor and academic reviewer of PhD theses, giving me a clear understanding of the RHD student experience.
