Mr Joemer Maravilla is currently in the second year of his PhD working on adolescent health and epidemiology.  He holds a bachelor degree in Nursing and has public health research experience in reproductive health and health systems in the Philippines.

He previously worked as a health systems consultant under USAID project through Research Triangle Institute in North Carolina to facilitate implementation of adolescent health service delivery and community information systems in selected areas in the Philippines. Also, he served as a research and policy fellow in the Department of Health-Philippines to conduct macro-level research and assist formulation of policies concerning family planning and maternal health.
