Erlyn Macarayan is a final year PhD candidate and a consultant at the Gavi Vaccine Alliance in Geneva, Switzerland working on monitoring and evaluation different health systems strengthening projects. She is also an incoming postdoc at Yale University Center for Infectious Disease Modeling and Analysis.

In the past, she spent time as an intern of the World Health Organization Regional Office in Europe Division of Information, Evidence, Research and Innovation to examine methods to assess Europe’s health systems performance, conduct data mining, and textual and social network analyses. She also spent time at the World Health Organization Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research in Geneva, Switzerland. She also did research visits at the Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies and the University of Washington Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation.
