MFSAS Stream A introductory modules cover the basics of data and data collection.

 

These half day modules are designed for individuals with little or no previous training or experience in research methods and data.

Module A4 - Understanding Social Cost-Benefit Analysis   (1 day)

  • Understand rationale for Cost-Benefit Anaylsis (CBA)
  • Basic CBA processes and methods
  • Non-monetary CBAs
  • Social Return on Investment (SROI) and Social Impact Analysis (SIA)
  • Limitations of CBA

This workshop is run by Associate Professor Richard Brown, author of Cost-Benefit Analysis: Financial and economic appraisal using spreadsheets, 2nd edition.
