This five day short course will support staff working in Indigenous Affairs to build their proficiency to work developmentally.
What will you learn?
Participants will develop skills in analysing context, engaging community, solving problems, institutional brokering, and adapting to complexity. Topics covered in the course include:

Who should attend?
The course is beneficial for government staff at all levels, and for staff working with NGOs, Indigenous organisations, mining companies or other private sector employers. Although it will be tailored to Indigenous contexts, most of the training will be relevant to tackling complex social problems in urban centres, country towns and developing countries. Participants will bring a range of experiences and knowledge, and we will draw this into the course to maximise its relevance.
The course will be restricted to a maximum of 25 trainees to create a dynamic space for learning and collaboration, so early registration is advised.
