In April 2025, the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) commissioned the University of Queensland’s Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR), in collaboration with the School of Education, to review and update the current monitoring process for the Australian Curriculum F-10.
As a member of the ACARA F-12 Curriculum Reference Group or Curriculum Directors Group, you have been invited to provide feedback on the draft Curriculum Monitoring Framework. This includes your views on the framework overview, principles, and domains, as well as the draft jurisdictional feedback questionnaire and toolkit.
Below is a pre-recorded webinar and accompanying summary documents that outline the draft framework. These resources (webinar and summary documents) can be downloaded for the purposes of this consultation. As they are in a draft form, please do not distribute further.
Once you have reviewed the webinar and summary documents, we please ask that you complete the survey which aims to seek your reflections on the clarity, relevance, and practicality of the proposed approach. Your feedback will help the UQ Project Team to refine and strengthen the framework to ensure it is practical, relevant, and valuable for jurisdictions and the sector as a whole.
